HCMC Lottery eyes $500M revenues in 2025

The HCMC Lottery Company targets annual growth of 8% in 2021-25, and eyes revenues of VND12.2 trillion (US$519 million) and profits of VND1.6 trillion at the end of the period.

Besides financial targets, the company also plans to innovate ticket printing technology, improve its products and expand the market for new products to increase government revenues.

It has contributed an estimated VND18.6 trillion to the government’s coffers in the last five years.

This year it hopes to sell over 2.8 million lottery tickets for revenues of VND11.37 trillion and earn profits of VND1.48 trillion.

The leading lottery company in the south has earned double the revenues of its nearest competitor since 2017, while its profits have always exceeded VND1 trillion.
