Drawing on her past experience in the catering industry, Chung told China Press that the food court's unique feature is its nearly 24-hour operation. "It operates from morning until 4 a.m., serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and supper. There are several five-star hotels nearby too," The Star reported, quoting the 55-year-old actress.
The food court, which has been open for a few months, takes inspiration from Malaysia's famous Jalan Alor food court in Bukit Bintang, known for its lively street food scene. "Our place is a mini city that never sleeps, a mini Jalan Alor. We hope it not only attracts locals but also travelers from around the world to taste Malaysian cuisine," she said.

Chung has been actively involved in the daily operations of the food court, often seen taking orders, cleaning tables, greeting customers, and even cooking in the kitchen. Despite the demanding tasks, she finds the work fulfilling. "I believe I have talent in cooking. There are no set hours for my work. I just help out whenever I have time," she said.
This is not Chung’s first foray into Malaysia’s food scene. In May 2023, she and her husband, actor Hugo Ng, opened a kopitiam coffee shop in a Kuala Lumpur mall.
Chung, who worked with TVB until 1993, is known for her roles in TV series like "You Sha Cuo Mao Ai Cuo" (1999), "Huo Xian Sheng Si Lian" (2002), and "The Woman Behind" (1995). She represented Hong Kong in the 1987 Miss Universe pageant. In 1995, she married Singaporean actor and director Hugo Ng, and the couple has one child.
