The carrier is now running three return flights a week between the destinations. It takes over two hours to fly the 1,900 km between Hanoi and Ca Mau.
Ca Mau Airport annually serves 35,000-40,000 passengers. However, it was designed to serve a total capacity of 200,000 passengers per year.
At present, Bamboo Airways owns and operates 30 planes on flights to all of Vietnam’s 22 domestic airports.
The carrier plans to open more routes to China in the second half of this year.
Bamboo currently runs 14 international flights to Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia and Europe.
