Banacab, the operator of Ba Na Hills tourism hotspot, recorded a post-tax profit of VND452 billion ($18.80 million) in the first half of this year, doubling year-on-year.

The Da Nang-based company recorded VND17.10 trillion of debt, with 38% coming from bonds.

It spent VND359 billion paying bond interests in the first half.

Ba Na Hills, which began operation in 2009, is known for having the world’s longest non-stop single-track cable car, at over 5,800 meters.

It is also the home of the Golden Bridge, a 150-meter-long pedestrian bridge designed to look like it is held by two giant hands.

A ticket to Ba Na Hills costs VND900,000 for an adult and VND750,000 for a child.
