Apple supplier Luxshare bumps up Vietnam investment by $330M

Apple supplier Luxshare ICT has received approval for its proposal to expand a factory in the northern province of Bac Giang at a cost of US$330 million.

The expansion of the plant in the Quang Chau Industrial Park, to be completed within 24 months, will increase the project’s total investment to $504 million, according to local authorities.

The Chinese company first invested in Bac Giang in 2019 and has one more factory in the province.

In the last two months Luxshare has been seeking to hire 20,000 new employees for its two plants.
