Airfare from Vietnam to Singapore doubles as Taylor Swift's Eras Tour approaches

The airfare from HCMC to Singapore during this period is double the typical cost of flights, which usually range between VND2.7 million and VND4.5 million.

For dates right after the Eras Tour concluded, air tickets fall to just VND3.39 million for a round trip.

Round-trips from Hanoi to Singapore are even more expensive during the same period, with the cheapest flight costing close to VND12 million.

These flights usually cost around VND4.8-9.1 million.

When the tour’s ticket sale was launched last year, Vietnam is among the top eight countries that have sold the highest number of Singapore tour packages for the concert, travel e-commerce platform Klook reported.

The packages include two tickets for the show and a night's stay at either a four-star or a five-star hotel, according to Klook.

Celebrated singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, 35, will perform six shows at Singapore’s National Stadium from March 2-4 and from March 7-9.

This is her sole Southeast Asian appearance for "The Eras Tour" as she was granted financial support from the Singaporean government to make the country her only stop in the region.

To date, over 300,000 tickets for the Singapore shows have been sold, according to Reuters.
