The five richest boxers in the world have a combined net worth of almost $1.4 billion, which they earn from fights, endorsements and investments, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Floyd Mayweather is the richest boxer in the world with a net worth of $400 million.

The retired American boxing champion is the fifth highest-paid athlete ever.

During the course of his 21-year career between 1996 and 2017, he won 15 major world championships from super featherweight to light middleweight.

Mayweather was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2010s by the Boxing Writers Association of America.

Another American boxer, George Foreman, claimed the second place with a $300 million net worth.

He is a two-time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist, and a multimillionaire entrepreneur.

His fortune, however, came little from boxing. The brand that carried his name, George Foreman Grill, has sold more than 100 million units worldwide.

Mexican light middleweight boxer Saul Alvarez came in third place with a $250 million net worth.

Canelo began his professional career at 15 years of age. His major accomplishments include winning the World Boxing Council, World Boxing Association (Super), and Ring magazine light middleweight titles.

He owns a chain of gas stations in Mexica called Canelo Energy. He also invests in convenience stores, a clothing line and a fitness app.

Manny Pacquiao

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is the only Asian athlete in the list with a net worth of $220 million.

He is the only professional boxer to be named an eight-division world champion and has won linear championships in five different weight classes.

Pacquiao also has interests in politics and has served as a senator in the Philippines for many years.

The biggest and most lucrative fight of Manny's career took place in May 2015 against longtime rival Floyd Mayweather. Manny earned $130 million from the fight.

With a net worth of $200 million, Oscar De La Hoya came in the fifth place.

Known as "The Golden Boy", the American boxer of Mexican descent has captured 11 world titles across six weight classes.

Hoya made his professional debut in 1992. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he fought in some of the most memorable and lucrative bouts in boxing history, facing off against other legends such as Julio César Chávez, Pernell Whitaker, and Floyd Mayweather.
