Guo Zhi Feng, Chairman of Chicilon Media, told VnExpress on Nov. 21 that in the context of the economic downturn, the business yet has completed 100% of the revenue target set for this year. In the period 2020–2022, the company was still profitable despite the impact of the pandemic.
The company is developing four major media channels, including television, building elevator posters, supermarket television, and LED posters at airports.
The company has covered more than 3,000 middle- and high-end buildings, 41 supermarkets, and 16 airports with about 32,000 screens, in HCMC, Hanoi, Da Nang, and other big cities.
"With a large number of screens across the country, low cost per display, and many other advantages, we dominate 85% of the building elevator communication market share, leading the industry," Guo said.

At the end of October, the unit entered the top 500 most profitable enterprises (Profit500), as announced by the Vietnam Report.
The ranking is based on many criteria, including weighted scores with main pillars including profit before tax, revenue, indicators reflecting profitability (ROA, ROE, and ROR), media reputation, and labor regulations.
The business also completed the goal of becoming a member of MMA Global Vietnam's Executive Board in August, and the World Out of Home Organization (WOO) in November.
Guo said that from a niche position, the elevator media channel gradually transformed, supporting brands to enhance their position and promote their products.
It has many advantages such as daily mandatory presence at close distance and with high frequency and access to high-end audiences.
Every day, its network reaches 40 million key consumers, providing long-term services to more than 700 domestic and foreign businesses.

"In addition, we always monitor resources that are not owned by us on the market, thereby seizing opportunities when companies in the same industry cannot afford to pay the rental fee for the building management unit. As long as it meets the exploitation standards (11 floors or more, floor area over 300 m2), Chicilon Media will sign a cooperation contract," Guo said.
He said the company is also committed to ensuring the revenue of building partners in the market, protecting customer rights, and the healthy development of this media channel in Vietnam.
"For the past 17 years, we have never owed rental fees, always paid on time, and respected and guaranteed the interests of partners and building management. Besides, Chicilon Media always complies with and obeys the owners' well-being policies, fulfills tax duties, and pays full contributions to the state budget," he added.
In October, the company received a certificate of merit for "Enterprise with effective production and business achievements and good implementation of 2022 tax policies and laws" from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department.
