Chicilon Media launches scholarship program to support students

Chicilon Media has established the Chicilon Scholarship Fund, which is worth VND3 billion (US$118,000) a year, for the top 10 universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The fund was established by Guo Zhi Feng, Chairman of Chicilon Media, who hopes to create extensive connections between businesses and universities while also creating opportunities for students to pursue their dreams and develop their future career paths.

The cooperation between the two parties includes Chicilon Media appointing representatives participating as guest speakers in seminars related to the field of marketing, advertising, and giving orientation about future careers for students. The company can also help the university organize activities such as job fairs and competitions to improve professional capacity for students.

In addition, the company also offers internship and work opportunities for students, with special priority given to students managing to get the scholarship. The scholarship program focuses on supporting both excellent students and those with difficult circumstances who strive to improve their studies.

Beside good academic performance, students who are dynamic, actively participate in extracurricular activities, and have a creative spirit are also given priority for scholarship consideration.

"Chicilon Media sees education as a bridge for the sustainable development of the country," President Guo said. "We believe that investing in education is not only an investment in the future of the students, but also an investment in the future of the businesses and the society."

With President Guo giving a part of his salary to theScholarship Fund for excellent students, the company has opened a new direction in the cooperation between businesses and education institutions, which not only focuses on brand development and profits but also on social responsibility.

Through the program, Chicilon Media wishes to contribute to developing talented young human resources for Vietnam while creating a foundation for the company's sustainable development in the future.

Within the framework of the cooperation programs with the universities, on June 26, Chicilon Media and UEB held a scholarship award ceremony where the scholarships with a total worth of VND300 million are given to full-time students in business administration, finance and banking, international economics and development economics.

Thien Hy Long Vietnam Information and Communication Technology (Chicilon Media) was established in 2006. It specializes in providing comprehensive communication solutions through networks of building elevator TV, building elevator posters, airport posters, large airport LED screens, and supermarket LED screens.

Currently, its media network covers more than 4,000 residential areas and high-end office buildings, and is present at more than 40 supermarkets and 16 key airports nationwide.

The number of advertising screens that the company owns is up to 37,000, occupying more than 90% of market share according to its exploitation standards, and at the same time widely reaching millions of mid- and high-end consumers in Vietnam.
