Chicilon Media increases building elevator screen resources by 25%

Chicilon sees elevator space as the main channel for promoting brands and products, and it has increased screen inventory here by 25% in the past four months, a significant increase since its establishment.

At a recent press conference in HCMC, Guo Zhi Feng, Chairman and CEO of Chicilon Media, said that in the context of the economic recession, the business had made many positive achievements.

From May to August, the company signed agreements with 204 residential areas, installing 5,855 new advertising equipments.

"Building screen resources increased by 25%, the highest growth rate since its establishment," Feng said.

In three consecutive years, the company continuously entered the list of the 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam and, at the same time, became the leading digital media platform in the market.

Guo Zhi Feng revealed that Chicilon Media always monitored resources that did not belong to it. When new competitors appeared on the market, especially in April this year, when the merger with Goldsun Focus Media was unsuccessful, they carefully researched their strategy and mobilized forces to implement a new goal.

First, they access valuable resources that competitors in the industry have not paid for on time. Then they focus on exploiting newly completed buildings. As long as the partners meet exploitation standards, Chicilon will sign the contract. Up to now, the business has signed with more than 37% of building elevator resources that it has never cooperated with before.

"We have seized a rare opportunity, not only in increasing the number of media resources and service quality but also consolidating our leading position. This factor ensures building rental income and protects profits. This benefits advertisers, promoting the healthy development of elevator media channels in Vietnam," he added.

From a niche position, elevator communications dominate the market, playing an important role in enhancing brands and promoting products. At the International Advertising Festival for two consecutive years (2017–2018), the channel won the gold award in the "Effective Media" category.

Also, at the event, Unilever's Global Marketing Director commented that in the 4.0 era and with so many media, building elevator communication channels had the most investment value. Elevator communication channels have become part of the infrastructure of economic development in Vietnam.
