Bernard Arnault was born in 1949 in Roubaix, France. He is the chairman and CEO of LVMH, the world’s largest luxury goods conglomerate that owns more than 70 renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Sephora. With an estimated net worth of about US$150.7 billion as of Aug. 20, he is the richest person in Europe and the 9th wealthiest globally.
Bernard Arnault is married and has five children, several of whom are involved in managing companies within the LVMH group.
