Filipino Moises “The Lion King” Lois Ilogon won big at ONE Championship, Asia’s leading MMA competition, with a technical knockout against South Korea’s Cho “Tyrant” Joon-gun on Friday in Bangkok.

Ilogon, a SEA Games bronze medalist, dealt a critical third-round blow with his left knee to Cho’s ribs before finishing the fight with a ground and pound before the bell, ABS-CBN News reported.

Throughout the match, which was his ONE debut, Ilogon did not hesitate to use his signature move of repeat high kicks.

Cho also put up a good fight with two leg takedowns in the second round, which forced Ilogon to switch to his defensive stance.

Ilogon stayed dominant throughout the rest of the match with solid jabs and accurate kicks before seizing the victory.

The 23-year-old from Cagayan de Oro used to work as a Muay Thai coach in Qatar.

Ilogon was a national Muay Thai champion before winning a bronze medal in kun khmer at the SEA Games 32 this year.
