Trinidad started strong as soon as the bell started in the match on Saturday night. He pulled a series of hard blows on an overwhelmed Eldin Guinahon. With little to no resistance from Guinahon, the referee had to stop the fight after noticing that he has taken a lot of heavy blows, Philippines' Spin reported.

After less than a round, the referee ruled that Guinahon could not continue. Trinidad won by technical knock out and remained the holder of the PBF light flyweight belt.

In the supporting fight between Noli James Maquilan and former amateur standout Dannel Maamo, the former bagged a fourth-round win and claimed the vacant PBF super flyweight belt.

Maquilan floored Maamo in the first round with a critical right hook but he got up and maintained a good stance until an incident in the fourth round.

Both boxers got entangled and went down, injuring Maamo's left arm.

"It was another night of terrific fistic action," Pacquiao said after the event, as cited by Inquirer.

Pacquiao was a product of Blow-By-Blow when it was still being held during the 1990s. Since retiring, he has continued to support Philippine boxing by hosting events across the country.
