Poyd Treechada, dubbed the “most beautiful transgender woman” in her native Thailand, will be a judge on the reality show “The New Mentor” that will air in August.

The show seeks to discover and train a new generation of models with leadership qualities for the high-end fashion industry.

Its organizers announced Friday that Poyd, also known as Nong Poy, would come to Vietnam in July to shoot.

They described Poyd, 36, as a star across Asia who is well-known for her beauty and talent.

She agreed to be a judge because she was interested in the show, they said. "Nong Poy is an inspiration to a large number of people in her country and abroad."

She married businessman Oak Hongyok in April, and has since returned to work.

On her fan page, many fans said they are looking forward to seeing the 37-year-old beauty in the show.

Poyd, real name Treechada Petcharat, underwent a gender-affirming surgery at the age of 17 and won the Miss International Queen pageant a year later.

She has acted in movies and TV shows in Hong Kong and Thailand, including "The White Storm," "From Vegas To Macau II" and "The Scarlet Night."

She is also the face of many cosmetic and jewelry brands.

In 2015 she became the first Thai transgender on the list of 100 most beautiful faces by independent critic TC Candler.

The remaining judges for the show, Lukkade Metinee, Sonia Couling and Cris Horwang, are also from Thailand. They are all well-known in the fashion industry and have served as judges and coaches on many famous reality TV shows.
