"The most important thing is I met the love of my life in Vietnam," Zakhidova told NgoiSao. "I realized how much I missed Vietnam when I returned to Ukraine after living in the country for a while. That is when I decided to come back and settle my future in Vietnam."
Zakhidova says her experience working in Vietnam has been good so far, and she has received much support from her Vietnamese colleagues and partners.
As she does not speak Vietnamese, there are sometimes misunderstandings at work, but the local models help her to understand what she is expected to do and deal with unpredictable issues.
Things like this made Zakhidova decide to settle in Vietnam after living and working in countries such as Germany, Singapore, and Turkey.
When asked what she thought about her current position among models active in Vietnam, the Ukrainian model said she preferred to let her efforts speak on her behalf.
"I am happy to be able to do what I want while earning money to contribute to covering my family’s living expenses," she said. "I have not had everything I want yet, but I love what I am having and feel satisfied."
The star couple’s relationship marked a new milestone when they welcomed their first child in late-2022.
"Dung and I take responsibility for doing household chores," she said. "For example, if I cook, he washes the dishes."
The model says Dung helps her in other ways too, adding that Dung always tried to understand her and treat her with care, respect, and consideration.
Dung lives in the capital playing for Hanoi Police Football Club, Zakhidova and their son live in HCMC. Dung visits home whenever he has days off and spends time with his family.
Zakhidova, 23, is a Ukrainian model active in Vietnam.
Her husband Bui Tien Dung, 26, was a frequent starter in the U23 national team at the AFC U23 Championship in 2018. He plays for Hanoi Police Football Club in the top tier of Vietnamese football.
