Grammy nominee set to shake-up EDM rave in Ha Long

An international DJ starcast, including 2007 Grammy nominee DJ Andy Moor, will headline an EDM rave in coastal Ha Long Town this weekend.

Dragon Music Festival will take place at Sun World Ha Long Complex this Saturday, July 16.

Various electronic dance music (EDM) genres will be played by top international DJs - English trance icon Moor, American electro-rock duo Breathe Carolina, Slovene-Croatian house duo Vanillaz and Dutch hardstyle duo Audiotricz.

Andrew Beardmore, whose stage name is Andy Moor, is a well-respected trance producer. He has received numerous awards and honors in his career, including a Grammy nomination for his remix of the song 'Angelicus'. He was ranked in the list of top DJs in the world numerous times, finishing in 15th spot (his peak position) in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs ranking in 2009. The last time he made his way into the list was in 2012, coming in at 87th. He has also performed at major raves around the world like Tomorrowland, EDC, Transmission and A State of Trance.

Placing 62th in DJ Mag’s recent Top 100 DJs ranking, Breathe Carolina is known for combining pop-punk and EDM. The group has managed to formulate their own sound, captivating crowds with their unique blend of rock and vocal progressive house. They first made an appearance in the Top 100 DJs chart in 2018 in 77th spot and have remained on the chart for the past four years.

Also taking part in the event are Vanillaz and and Audiotricz who will shake up the crowds with their heavy bass tracks and hardstyle anthems.

A slew of underground Vietnamese DJs will take part in the event, hyping up the audiences with various genres like trap, techno, bigroom, psytrance and others ahead of the main acts.
