Shooting of "The White Lotus" is set to begin in and around Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok in Thailand in February, with its plot following a new group of guests at a White Lotus resort property, U.S. magazine Variety reported on Feb. 12.

Lisa’s role has not been revealed, and there are plenty of potential ones she could play, according to American news site Business Insider.

The new season will feature "a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a misfit and a yogi" among others.

"The White Lotus" proved to be an immediate hit for HBO when it debuted in 2021.

The first season, set in Hawaii, received 20 Emmy nominations and 10 wins, including best limited or anthology series.

The second, which premiered in December 2022 and was set in Sicily, earned 23 Emmy nominations, including for best drama series, ultimately winning five.

Lisa announced recently on Instagram that she has launched her own management agency called LLOUD.

The 27-year-old was born and raised in Thailand but made her career in South Korea, joining YG Entertainment at the age of 14 after winning a music contest.

Lisa made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016. She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2021 with the release of her album "Lalisa."

In 2023 Lisa was recognized by online music application Spotify as the first Kpop artist to reach 1 billion streams for the song "Money."

In November last year she became the first Kpop artist to be ushered into the Asian Hall of Fame as a cultural icon.

Also in November Lisa and other Blackpink members attended the British royal banquet on the occasion of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s visit to the U.K.

Since September last year Lisa has paused her artistic activities to focus on her personal life and travel.
