In addition to the performances, Blackpink excited the audience with short interactions, expressing their love for the people and country on their first time here.

"I love Vietnam. I love Hanoi," they shouted throughout the performance.

Rosé, the main vocalist complimented Vietnamese cuisine as very delicious, especially pho, while Lisa said she loved bun cha, and Jisoo added that she liked banh mi.

The 26-year-old singer Rosé has mentioned her love for pho many times before. Vietnamese fans overseas often gift her instant pho packs and have even asked her to get pho at the airport.

In early July, a Vietnamese TikToker came to Incheon Airport to welcome Rosé after she returned from England. She asked Rosé what she wanted to eat most in Vietnam and she replied pho, in a moment that quickly went viral among Blackpink fans in Vietnam.

After receiving instant pho packs from the fans, Rosé took a photo and said it was her favorite dish.

In the reality show "Blackpink House," Rosé asked Lisa to have pho with her on their day off.

"I’m hungry and I want to eat pho", she said after spotting a Vietnamese restaurant on the road. She ordered a big bowl of beef pho, with Vietnamese rolls and fried rice and couldn’t hide her excitement while enjoying the dishes.

Blackpink was formed in 2016 and consists of four members: Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose. The group has since achieved international success with numerous hits like "Ddu-Du Ddu-du," "Kill This Love" and "Pink Venom."

Their YouTube channel is the most-viewed on the platform with 30.399 billion views. Outside of music, the four members of the group are also global ambassadors for famous fashion brands.

Their world tour Born Pink, which started late last year, has grossed about $163.8 million so far, with more than 900,000 tickets sold. This makes Born Pink the highest-grossing girl group tour of all time, surpassing the previous record set by Spice Girls ($78.2 million) in 2019.

Hanoi is the group’s last stop in Asia on the Born Pink world tour.
