It is also reported that Penny has followed all four Blackpink members on Instagram after the meeting, initiating speculations that his record label is seeking to sign contracts with the South Korean girl group.
Blackpink’s status has recently been a hot topic as the group’s exclusive contract with YG Entertainment is believed to reach an end this year.
South Korean news outlets have quoted "music industry insiders" who said Rosé is the only member that has renewed her contract with the talent management agency, while the remaining three members are keeping their options open.
Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Rosé, 26, signed with South Korean label YG Entertainment following an audition in 2012.
She debuted as a vocalist with Blackpink in 2016.
She made her solo debut with the album ‘R’ five years later.
