Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s Vietnamese-born adopted son, appeared on the cover of Vogue with Jolie and his younger sister Zahara Jolie-Pitt to promote his mother’s new fashion brand.

The Vietnamese-born Pax Thien and Ethiopian-born Zahara, two of the famous actress’ three adopted children, graced the cover of Vogue’s October issue with Jolie to promote her new fashion brand Atelier Jolie.

Jolie donned various outfits throughout the photoshoot, while Zahara wore an elegant white dress and Pax Thien was in a shirt, trousers, and sneakers. The young man also brought a camera with him to capture moments he shared with his mother and sister.

According to Jolie, Zahara and Pax Thien were assisting her in preparing her fashion brand, with the former accompanying her around New York to find a place for her office and the latter participating in decoration processes. The actress said the fashion brand is a family project.

Jolie also proudly gave Vogue reporters a white canvas with her brand’s logo on it. The canvas was made by Pax Thien.

"That was my son practicing," she said while pointing at the canvas.

She told the magazine about her journey as a mother as well.

"I was 26 when I became a mother," Jolie said. "My entire life changed. Having children saved me—and taught me to be in this world differently."

The actress said she was the kind of mother who always lets her children decide everything in their lives instead of controlling them. She has let her kids choose their outfits on their own ever since they were young, she said.

She added that her kids have played an important role as her motivation to live.

"I think, recently, I would’ve gone under in a much darker way had I not wanted to live for them," she said. "They’re better than me."

Jolie, 48, has six children with her ex-husband film star Brad Pitt, 60: Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox Jolie-Pitt. Maddox, Pax Thien, and Zahara were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Ethiopia respectively. Meanwhile, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox are the couple’s biological children.

Jolie and Pitt have been embroiled in a custody battle following Jolie’s initial divorce filing in 2016. Jolie was granted physical custody of the kids, while Pitt was given joint custody in 2021. However, it is reported that the tug-of-war is still not completely settled.
