Vietnam enter AFC U23 Championship with 4-0 win over Thailand

Vietnam earned top group spot and a ticket to the AFC U23 Championship next year with a big victory Tuesday night.

    Vietnam enter AFC U23 Championship with 4-0 win over Thailand

After beating Brunei 8-0 and Indonesia 1-0, Vietnam will have to beat Thailand outright tonight to earn the top group spot and to secure a win against Thailand tonight to earn a spot and secure automatic qualification for the AFC U23 Championship.

They will probably be eliminated if they lose to Thailand and face a tricky time if they draw.

Vietnam's coach Park Hang-seo has admitted that Thailand have a quality roster while Vietnam did not have enough preparation time to ensure perfect teamwork and synchronization.
