Vi Hao's goal is disallowed for offside after a lengthy VAR review. Vietnam are still comfortably ahead with a 3-goal advantage.

Vietnam will advance to the semifinals as long as they don’t lose to Myanmar by more than one goal. However, the team aim to win this match to maintain their top spot in the group and improve their FIFA ranking, taking advantage of the home ground.

If they reach the semifinals, the team will have a four to five-day break, so coach Kim Sang-sik can field his strongest lineup against Myanmar.

Naturalized Brazilian forward Rafaelson, known by his Vietnamese name Nguyen Xuan Son, will make his debut for the national team against Myanmar.

Indonesia will play the Philippines in the other match of group B to decide the other team to enter to the next round, facing group A's top-placed team Thailand and second-placed Singapore.
