Vietnam are considered the underdog as they entered the game as a third-placed team selected in the last minute thanks to fair-play stats. Jordan, on the other hand, topped group B by beating defending champions Australia and conceding no goals.

Vietnam's head coach Park Hang-seo said Jordan is a powerful team but not unbeatable.

"Vietnam is going to have quite a tough match, but we can win if we are well-prepared and embrace our strengths," Park said at a press conference.
