Vietnam beat Indonesia 1-0 in tense AFC U23 qualifier

Vietnam failed at many attempts to break through the all-offensive Indonesia, and only scored from a corner in the last minute.

Vietnam started the U23 AFC Championship qualifiers with a thrashing 6-0 win against Brunei as they dominated the entire game. 

In their second game, Vietnam face Indonesia, who suffered a 0-4 defeat against Thailand in the last game.

Vietnam will face Thailand in the last game of group K on March 26.

To qualify for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Vietnam has to get the top spot in the group or become one of the best second-placed teams. They are now on second place after Thailand beat Brunei 8-0 earlier on Sunday.
