Thailand are a surprise in this Asian Cup when they placed second in group F with five points and didn't concede a single goal. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan placed second in group B with five points.
However, history is leaning a bit toward Uzbekistan as in the most recent five encounters with Thailand, they won three and lost two.
Thailand, the only Southeast Asian team remaining in this year's Asian Cup, will try to seize their chance and advance to the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup for the first time.
