Vietnam have their second corner of the match. Van Khang tries to curl the ball directly to Iraq's goal, but it has been punched away.

Both teams have earned three points from their first match of the World Cup qualification second round, Vietnam having beaten the Philippines 2-0 and Iraq thrashing Indonesia 5-1.

Vietnam are considered the underdogs as they have never won against Iraq in their four encounters in the past. They only earned a 1-1 draw in a World Cup qualification match in 2015, also in My Dinh Stadium.

But Vietnam's coach Philippe Troussier said that could be an advantage as his team will enter the game with nothing to lose and create surprises.
