The wind gusts in Hanoi had grown stronger. Residents continued to reinforce their homes and businesses, using heavy objects to secure doors and windows. On Pham Van Dong Street in Bac Tu Liem District, a shop placed a container in front of its glass doors to block the wind.

Fearing heavy rain could lead to flooding, the management of an apartment complex in Hoang Mai District hurriedly placed sandbags and furniture at the entrance of the underground parking area. Local authorities urged residents to stay indoors, avoid going outside during the storm, and refrain from taking shelter under trees or near power poles.
