More than 1,000 traffic police officers will be on duty to maintain order for the summit that will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Vietnam’s capital city. Among them, around 100 are female police officers.

30 traffic police cars will be part of the security contingent patroling the streets.
Two Hummer H2 SUVs of the mobile police department under the Ministry of Public Security will be put in use. This vehicle is equipped with bulletproof windows and its chassis and tires can withstand small grenades and mines.
Two bulletproof modified vehicles will also be deployed.
The security convoy passes through Ba Dinh District.
Over 10 trucks carrying police officers were part of the convoy. As many as 1,000 police officers will be deployed to ensure summit security.
The security convoy passed along side regular traffic on several streets. The second summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un will take place in Hanoi on Wednesday and Thursday.
