This year, the exercises were conducted in Padang City and Indonesia's Mentawai Archipelago with the participation of 48 ships from 16 countries, including Vietnam.
Adopting “Readiness and Cooperation for Peace” as its main theme, the exercise will cover peacekeeping operations at sea, humanitarian aid, and disaster relief, conducting by ASEAN's members and others countries, including Japan, Russia, Australia, the U.S. and India.
