Every summer, the Southern Fruit Festival draws eager crowds as a can't-miss event. Now in its 21st edition, the festival is more vibrant than ever, reflecting Suoi Tien Theme Park's spirit of renewal, integration, and creativity.
Opening on June 1 with the theme "Rooted in farming - soulful in culture - modern integration," this year's festival goes beyond celebrating Southern agricultural products. It showcases a renewed Suoi Tien Theme Park - more modern, expansive, and driven by pioneering ambition.
For the first time, Suoi Tien Theme Park has partnered with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade to organize the 2025 Agricultural Products Promotion Day as part of the festival.
This year, traditional booths were replaced by a vibrant setting featuring three dynamic 4.0 livestream sessions hosted by KOLs and KOCs, creating a lively, youthful, and interactive experience with more than 20 standout agricultural stalls.
Also at Suoi Tien Theme Park, the art of fruit carving, long considered a festival hallmark for over 28 years, has gained international recognition.
This year, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports officially submitted it for inclusion in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Contest entries will be accepted from June 6, judged on June 7, and awarded on June 8. The exhibition will remain open through June 20.
The Southern Fruit Festival 2025 debuts a parade show titled "Vietnamese Produce Reaching Out to the World." Drawing inspiration from Vietnam's fertile lands and the development journey of Suoi Tien Farm's products, the performance leads visitors from rustic villages to advanced farming zones, highlighting the evolution from native fruits to globally integrated agricultural goods, with Suoi Tien Farm emerging as a symbol of high-tech agriculture in Ho Chi Minh City.
A mini-show also brings to life traditional customs like rural weddings, ancestral commemorations, and Mekong Delta gate rituals, offering vivid, authentic glimpses into Vietnam's rich folk heritage - all within the lively and vibrant spirit of the festival.
