Provincial Roads 25C and 25B and Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 3 section through Dong Nai Province are gradually taking shape ahead of Long Thanh International Airport’s expected opening in June.

The Ring Road No. 3 overpass has been asphalted and installed with expansion joints and median barriers.

In addition to Road 25C, the 11-km Ring Road 3 section passing through Dong Nai is also largely complete and opened to technical traffic on Dec. 19.

According to the Dong Nai project management board, this road cost over VND2.5 trillion and is expected to open to traffic before June.

Besides the five-kilometer expressway-standard section linking to the Ben Luc–Long Thanh Expressway, Ring Road No. 3 also includes two service roads on either side.

Some three kilometers from Provincial Road 25C, work to upgrade and widen Provincial Road 25B is being fast-tracked.

The interchange between Road 25B and Ring Road 3 is in Nhon Trach Commune.

Workers are building the overpass and sidewalks along Road 25B in Nhon Trach Commune.

Vo Tan Duc, deputy secretary of the Dong Nai Province Party Committee, has urged the project managers to speed up work and complete all the roads by June to serve Long Thanh Airport connectivity.

Provincial Road 25B, nearly four kilometers long, runs from Nhon Trach Commune to Quach Thi Trang Road and is being widened at a cost of VND640 billion.

Once completed it will be 24 meters wide, with sidewalks on both sides. Contractors are building the drainage and installing signage, trees and traffic lights in the Nhon Trach area.

In addition to the four-kilometer section that is about to open to traffic, the section from Nhon Trach Commune to National Highway 51 is also being widened.
