In the first race, the route is 190 km long, divided into two rounds with 15-minute rest stop.

After the break, the two racers get on the car to continue their competition. The logistics team help them put on their protective gear and check the cabin.

The two racers completed the second round with a distance of more than 100 km. After two rounds, Aka Racing team ranked 12th with a record of 3 hours 27 minutes 03 seconds, out of a total of 31 participants. In the previous day, the team stood at 16th.

During the race, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia team had a front tyre blowout. The car was driven by Takuma Aoki, the only racer in the tournament driving in wheelchair due to a past incident.

In the evening, the logistics team inspect the vehicles and carry out maintenance or repair.

Repairs take place over night to ensure that the cars operate stably the next day. This is why the rally racing is considered as "a race for drivers by day, for mechanics by night."

Driver Tran Cong Phat said the Asia rally is a tough, highly competitive race. In the first round, the favorable weather and the dry road helped their car reach a speed of more than 140 km/h in some sections.

However, driving at such high speed could cause some dangers such as jumping off the track in sharp turns.

At the tents of other racing teams, the logistics teams constantly check and disassemble components such as tires, shock absorbers, breathing tubes, brakes, air filters, radiators.

Team Isuzu Suphan (Thailand) suffered the most damage while one car was skidded off the track and the other had an engine failure. With many achievements in the previous tournaments, the team were constantly pressured by other teams like RalliArt (Japan).

In the first round, RalliArt ranked first with a time of 2 hours 52 minutes 29 seconds, followed by Isuzu Suphan who finished in 2 hours 56 minutes 36 seconds.
