The top 10 four-star hotels in Vietnam for 2025 have been named, honoring excellence in service, design and sustainability, with the south dominating the list.

The Best Four-Star Hotel Awards were presented at the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 ceremony on Sept. 27.

An 11-member jury of officials, industry representatives and tourism experts judged the entries.

Liberty Central Saigon Riverside (Ho Chi Minh City)

Located at 17 Ton Duc Thang Street, Saigon Ward, this hotel (pictured above) is part of the Liberty Central Hotels chain. The hotel overlooking the Saigon River in downtown Ho Chi Minh City has 170 modern rooms.

It caters to both leisure and business travelers, with rates ranging from VND1.2 million to VND2.5 million ($45 - $95) per night.

Hotel Continental Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

Hotel Continental Saigon at 132 - 134 Dong Khoi Street, Saigon Ward, is one of HCMC's oldest hotels.

It was built in 1880 during colonial times, and retains its French architecture.

With 80 rooms blending historic charm and modern comfort, its rates range from VND1.5 million to VND3 million ($57 - $114) per night.

Becamex Hotel New City (Binh Duong New City)

Situated in Binh Duong New City, Becamex Hotel New City is one of the area's largest hotels with 315 rooms and serviced apartments.

Opened in 2019, it targets business travelers and families, and costs VND1-2.2 million ($38 - $84) a night.

Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa (Quang Nam Province)

Managed by Victoria Hotels & Resorts, this 114-room resort is on Cua Dai Beach near Hoi An City. Its Indochine-style design evokes the charm of a fishing village with narrow lanes, ponds and red-tiled roofs. Rooms cost VND2.5-5 million ($95 - $189) per night.

Saigon - Ha Long Hotel (Quang Ninh Province)

Located at 168 Ha Long Street, Saigon - Ha Long Hotel has been operating since 1990. Owned by the giant Saigontourist group, it has 220 rooms. Perched on a hill in Bai Chay Ward, it offers views of Ha Long Bay. Rooms cost VND1-2 million ($38 - $76) a night.

Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat (Hanoi)

Opened in 2017, this Melia Hotels International property sits 600 meters above sea level inside Ba Vi National Park. Its 55 rooms blend French architecture with Vietnamese touches.

Its rents range from VND2 million to VND4.5 million ($76 - $170) per night.

Fusion Suites Vung Tau (Ho Chi Minh City)

Fusion Suites Vung Tau, at 2 Truong Cong Dinh Street, Ward 2, is part of the Fusion Hotel Group. This 171-room seaside hotel opened in 2020 with a wellness and ocean-inspired design and an infinity pool. Its rooms start at VND1.5 million ($57) per night.

Muong Thanh Grand Phuong Dong Hotel (Nghe An Province)

Located at 2 Truong Thi Street, this 177-room hotel both offers accommodation and hosts conference and other events. It also offers dining and spa facilities, and rooms cost VND800,000-1.5 million ($30 - $57) per night.
