This serene moment was captured in a photo series by photographer Nguyen Thanh Tuan, who lives and works in Tra Vinh. The photos were taken on Dec. 6.

"The mist appears following rains in late November. To capture the hazy scene, you have to start early in the morning," said Tuan.
Cay Duong Hamlet, located more than 35 kilometers from Tra Vinh City, is home to people who primarily rely on livestock and agriculture.
The vast fields are considered the rice granary of Chau Thanh District.

During the fog season, the city's landscape becomes increasingly hazy.
However, to capture the most striking moments, photography enthusiasts must venture further towards areas with dense trees along the river or the suburbs.
In the city, the monastery is a familiar spot for fog hunting.
Built in 2017, the monastery spans nearly 6 hectares and features Ly-Tran Buddhist architecture. The campus is also home to many lush green trees.

The Maspero River is not only important for irrigation, but is also closely associated with the lives of the Khmer people in the region, where people release flower lanterns and organize large-scale boat races every festival season.
In An Giang, photographer Duong Viet Anh captures the scene of mist covering Van Linh Pagoda on Cam Mountain in Tinh Bien District on Dec. 7.
"The scenery appears in the mist like a paradise," said Viet Anh.
Tinh Bien is a mountainous district close to the Cambodian border and home to the largest number of ethnic Khmer communities in An Giang, with most farming or growing palmyra palms.
Chi Lang field is an ideal spot for watching and capturing clouds as sunlight filters through the rows of palm trees, a signature species of An Giang.
In addition to fog hunting on Cam and Chi Lang mountains, visitors can also hike and camp, as the weather is dry and the view of the entire plain from the summit is clear.
