Hoai, 26, is currently playing for Vietinbank VC. She was the first Vietnamese to be named best setter at an international tournament, the 2016 Southeast Asian Junior Women’s Volleyball Championships.
Hoai was also a member of the Vietnam women’s volleyball team that won silver medal at the SEA Games 31 in 2022.
With a height of 1.74 m, a lovely face and a radiant smile, she won the title of Miss Volleyball at the 2022 national championship.
She is currently taking business administration at the University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University. Last year, Hoai received a scholarship from the university with a GPA of 3.87.
Hoai also has a great passion for English. She is teaching and managing the English center she founded called English Training Lab (ETL), targeting coaches and athletes.
Hoai said that the first time she taught a class, she was not really confident. However, with the advantage of being an athlete and English experience, Hoai easily helped her colleagues in using the language.
Practicing, competing, studying and teaching keeps Hoai busy. However, she still manages to do it all. Occasionally, she appears on television as a commentator.
Hoai has many opportunities to venture into showbiz. However, she found that environment not suitable for her. Instead, she wants to study for another degree to expand her knowledge, which can help her have more job opportunities when she retires.
In her free time, Hoai likes going to cafes, traveling and taking photos. She is still single at the moment.
