In the morning, there were snow and drizzle, which increased the humidity and cold in the afternoon, creating an uncomfortable condition for players. The team had to wear jackets while training.
Despite the cold weather, the training session wasn't affected and the players completed it in two hours.
In this session, coach Park Hang-seo prioritized teamwork attacks and finishing, which required high accuracy and concentration.
Park is increasing the intensity of each session before slowing down for players to be on best form before playing Taiwan here on Oct. 27.
To prepare for the U23 Asian Cup qualifiers, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) initially planned for the team to train in South Korea or Japan. However, due to Covid-19, travel restrictions and quarantine regulations, the training location was changed.
The team went to Dubai instead and played two friendlies there, before heading to Kyrgyzstan to acclimatize.
