The actress posted photos of herself and Zhang attending the Sanya Consumer Expo on Tuesday on her Weibo account.
In a video posted about the event on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, users praised Chung’s vibrant energy and confident appearance.
Chung and Zhang, who married in 2016 after meeting on a dating show the previous year, have built a strong relationship, with the actress often sharing her gratitude for finding a loving partner who cares for her children from previous marriages.
Chung’s first marriage was to a Belgian man in 1998, followed by a second marriage to Taiwanese musician Jon Yen in 2003. They separated in 2011 after having two daughters together.
Chung and Zhang do not have children together yet.
Ross, 27, earned the title of 1st runner-up at the 2021 Miss Chinese Vancouver pageant.
Chung, born in Canada to a Chinese-Vietnamese father and a Vietnamese mother, moved to Hong Kong in 1993 to compete in the Miss Chinese International Pageant. Despite not speaking Chinese at the time, she triumphed in the competition, which launched her acting career.
Her breakout role in the 1993 film “The Bride with White Hair 2” cemented her status as a celebrated figure in Chinese-language entertainment, and she went on to star alongside iconic actors like Hong Kong’s Stephen Chow and Singaporean actor Jet Li.
