Authorities on the holiday island of Bali in Indonesia have deported six foreign nationals from the U.K., Canada, Ghana, and India for various immigration violations.

The British man was found operating an illegal motorcycle rental business in Nusa Penida without the proper visa, while the Canadian citizen was suspected of theft at an art store in Sanur, according to The Bali Sun.

The Ghanaian national was arrested for overstaying his visa on arrival by nearly six years while three Indian men were deported after being found guilty of working illegally in Indonesia, Nusa Bali reported.

Indonesia prohibits foreigners from engaging in income-generating activities while on a visa on arrival or a socio-cultural visa.

Bali, known for its stunning beaches and ancient temples, has been a top tourist destination in recent years. However, authorities have ramped up law enforcement following a series of public order violations involving foreigners.
