Which Southeast Asian city most searched by Vietnamese tourists for April 30 holiday?

Thailand's Bangkok was the most searched destination by Vietnamese travelers during the five-day holidays to celebrate Reunification Day-Labor Day (April 30- May 1), online travel platform Agoda said.

It was followed by Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei, based on its accommodation search data with check-in dates between April 26 and May 4, 2025.

The rest of the top 10 were Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Bali and Osaka.

The Thai capital maintains its appeal to Vietnamese tourists over many holidays thanks to its affordable travel costs, friendly locals and diverse entertainment and culinary experiences.

Last year, market research firm Euromonitor International crowned Bangkok as the world's top tourism city after the city welcomed a record-breaking 32.4 million visitors, a 30% year-on-year increase.
