The Central Highlands has something rosy to trumpet

The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong blushes pink at this time of the year - the rosy trumpet season.

After the cherry blossoms are gone, Bao Loc Town in Lam Dong Province moves into the rosy trumpet season.

Trees laden with the blooms scatter light pink petals on a path.

The rose trumpet trees in bloom at Nam Phuong Lake, about two kilometers east of Bao Loc Town.

Rosy trumpet trees are about 10-15 meters tall with a broad canopy. The flowers bloom at a time when the trees shed their leaves completely.

The flowers bloom over a fisherman on the lake.

However, about a week after going into full bloom, these fragile beauties will begin to fall off the trees due in the windy weather.

The rose trumpet flowers adorning the tranquil lake is a beautiful sight from near and far.

Even at sunset, the blooms on the banks of the Nam Phuong Lake add to the quiet charm.
