Hyun Bin, one of South Korea's most influential actors, recently stayed two nights at one of Taipei's most luxurious hotels and enjoyed dim sum at a traditional restaurant.
The actor visited Taipei to promote his new film, "Harbin", on Wednesday, marking the first stop of the movie's promotional tour across Asia, TVBS reported.

Hyun Bin is spotted visiting the Dian Shui Lou restaurant on Huaining Road, where he greeted fans and accepted a small gift featuring a photo of him and his wife, actress Son Ye Jin.
Dian Shui Lou is a renowned restaurant chain in Taiwan, known for its traditional decor and extensive dim sum menu.
The dishes feature carefully selected ingredients, crafted by experienced chefs with exceptional culinary skills. The restaurant has long been a must-visit destination in Taipei, earning high praise on platforms like Tripadvisor.
The restaurant’s signature dish is xiaolongbao, traditionally prepared in a xiaolong, a small bamboo steaming basket.
These steamed dumplings are filled with naturally sweet broth and tender meat.
During his three-day stay in Taipei, Hyun Bin was reportedly staying at the five-star Grand Hyatt in Xinyi District, according to local media.
The hotel has 850 guestrooms and suites, 13 grand event spaces, and 8 international dining restaurants, complemented by high-quality professional services.
He stayed at the Presidential Suite on the 25th floor, which spans 67 square meters.
The suite features a spacious living room, a private party area, personal butler service, and costs NT$180,000 (US$5,800) per night.
The hotel offers views of Taipei 101, a 101-story skyscraper in downtown area and one of the tallest buildings in the world.
From the hotel, visitors can easily come to popular tourist attractions such as Longshan Temple, Treasure Hill Artist Village and Xinyi Shopping District.

Hyun Bin, 43, was born Kim Tae Pyung. He rose to fame with his role in the 2005 romantic comedy "My Lovely Sam Soon". Since then, he has starred in several hit television dramas, including "Secret Garden", "Memories of the Alhambra", and "Crash Landing on You".
