The report assesses the "lovability" of over 270 of the world's largest cities based on factors such as culture, shopping, restaurants, attractions, nightlife, dining, Tripadvisor reviews, Instagram hashtags, and international reputation.
With thousands of new hotel rooms added in recent years, Tokyo's hotel and tourism sector is poised for a resurgence, aligning with Japan's national target of attracting 60 million tourists and generating US$136 billion in tourism revenue by 2030.
Singapore's culinary diversity is a major highlight, from its humble hawker centers known for Michelin-starred street food to upscale dining establishments serving dishes like spicy white pepper crab, the report added.
London topped the list as the most loved city, followed by Paris and New York.
The rest of the top 10 are Rome (5th), Barcelona (6th), Madrid (7th), Dubai (8th), and Berlin (9th).
