With three weeks still to go for the Reunification Day-Labor Day holidays (April 30- May 1) hotel occupancy rates in Sa Pa have already exceeded 80%.

According to data from travel platform Mustgo, which partners with 2,000 hotels nationwide, most four-star hotels in the northern highlands city are almost fully booked for the five-day holiday lasting until Sunday, May 4.

A few rooms are still available for April 30 but not for May 1 or 2.

For five-star hotels, the rate is 75%.

Occupancy rates in other tourist destinations like Phu Quoc, Phan Thiet and Vung Tau range from 20% to 70%.

In Phu Quoc, it is 70% and 50% for four- and five-star establishments.

In Phan Thiet, 60–70% of five-star rooms and 50–60% of three- and four-star rooms are booked.

Vung Tau reported 20–40% across all segments.
