Two Vietnamese attractions, one natural and the other manmade, have flashed on the giant screens at Times Square in New York, wowing passers-by.

The Golden Bridge at Sun World Ba Na Hills, Da Nang, and the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range in Sa Pa were promoted for the first time on December 22 at the world's most renowned public square.

Many people stopped and watched the full 60 seconds of the clip and expressed great admiration.

Chris (New Jersey) said: "Wow, an incredible bridge. I’ve heard about it a few times over the past few months. I’ve seen it on CNN, BBC... An impressive construction and it’s even more amazing it was built in Vietnam."

Vietnam’s most unique bridge has become quite well-known in the U.S. after widespread coverage by major global news agencies since it opened last June.

With CNN, the BBC, Reuters, Time magazine and others pulling out all the stops, a steady flow of international tourists is making its way to the Sun World Ba Na Hills, where the bridge is located.

The bridge is also a fixture in top news outlets’ annual awards. It has won among others awards for the World's best travel photos of 2018 (CNN Travel), the World's 100 Greatest Places (Time magazine) and Pictures of the year 2018 (Reuters).

The New York Times said: "In the mountains of central Vietnam, a colossal pair of hands lifts a golden thread of walkway high above the cliff-tops, as if the mountain itself has sprouted limbs."

George (Pennsylvania), another passer-by at Times Square, said: "I’ve seen people talk about it on Facebook and Instagram and other American media outlets, and it’s really beautiful. I think it’s a place that you want to visit once in your life, especially the Golden Bridge."

Hoang Lien Son mountainrange also attracted the attention of New Yorkers with its picturesque rice terraces and dreamy clouds.

Last month Hoang Lien Son was voted by travel editors and explorers of National Geographic as one of the world’s most exciting destinations and the most exciting in Southeast Asia.

The Fansipan cable car is a great way to enjoy its beauty. It takes visitors on an unforgettable trip over Muong Hoa valley and rolling mountains with their primeval forest to Mt Fansipan, the top of Indochina, where there is a spectacular spiritual complex.

In its introduction tothe mountain range, NatGeo said: "Thanks to a new cable car connection, tourist traffic is on the rise at 10,312-foot Fansipan, Vietnam’s highest peak. Still, much of this northwest mountain region (beyond the busy gateway town Sa Pa) remains rugged, rural and a world away from hectic Hanoi, about 195 miles to the southeast."

The people watching the video clip were bowled over by the beauty of Hoang Lien Son. Joyce (Maine) said: "I think for those who like mountain climbing or discovering the real life in Southeast Asia, it will be a must-visit destination. I don’t hike but I’d love to see it from a cable car. I think it will be a fantastic trip."
