Chinese actress Fan Bingbing poses with Tokyo Tower during Japan vacation

Fan Bingbing, one of Asia's most influential celebrities, was seen posing for photos with Tokyo Tower, inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris and considered as tourist landmark of Japan.

She shared photos of herself standing next to the communications and observation tower that was lit up at night on May 1, captioning them: "Holiday is coming."

Chinese people enjoy the Golden Week from April 29 to May 6, making it a popular occasion for vacations and festivities.

Built in 1958, and standing 333 meters tall, Tokyo Tower in the district of Shiba-koen in Minato serves as a symbol of Tokyo's rebirth after World War II.

It is painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations. FootTown, a four-story building directly under the tower, houses museums, restaurants, and shops.

Fan, 43, hails from Shandong, China. She began her entertainment career at the age of 17 and is known for her work as an actress, model, TV producer, and singer.

In 2017, she was featured in Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people.
