The Maextro S800 recorded 2,145 deliveries in November, exceeding the combined total of 1,200 units sold by the Panamera and 928 units sold by the 7 Series, according to South China Morning Post, citing data from ECC Intelligence.
The Maextro S800 has maintained its lead for three consecutive months since September, when it achieved 1,900 deliveries.

Its success is attributed to its competitive pricing and features, according to Carscoops. The full-size luxury sedan, measuring 215.7 inches (5,480 mm), is priced between 708,000 yuan and 1,020,000 yuan ($100,600 to $144,900). For comparison, the BMW 7 Series starts at 919,000 yuan, the Porsche Panamera at 1.1 million yuan, and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class at 1.47 million yuan.
The S800 is equipped with premium features, including a triple-screen dashboard, a 40-inch rear projector that transforms the back seat into a private cinema, automatic doors, crystal-effect buttons, and a starlit ceiling reminiscent of Rolls-Royce. The interior is finished with wood and leather, and the Advanced Driver Assistance System is powered by Huawei’s tech suite.
Launched in May, the S800 marks Huawei’s entry into China’s luxury car market, which has long been dominated by international brands, particularly those offering petroleum-powered vehicles.
Another Chinese brand, YangWang, owned by the world’s largest EV maker BYD, is also entering the six-figure market with models like the U8 SUV, priced at around $150,000.
