Bill Gates’s youngest daughter Phoebe shares rare photo with boyfriend, Beatles legend Paul McCartney's grandson

The pair, who began dating in mid-2023, were seen cosying up at the event. Phoebe, 22, shared a photo of them on Instagram Stories, adding two large blue heart emojis. In the image, she appears smitten, resting her hand on Arthur’s chest while gazing at him.

Phoebe and Arthur, 25, first drew attention in October 2023 when she posted a photo of them together in Paris, according to the Daily Mail. They later attended a movie premiere, but Phoebe declined to discuss their relationship in an interview with Bustle.

She eventually confirmed their romance in an online blog for Nylon, a lifestyle magazine, calling Arthur her "boyfriend" while reflecting on her graduation from Stanford University.

Speaking on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast on April 30, Phoebe opened up about the relationship and her limited exposure to music prior to meeting Arthur, People magazine reported. While promoting her shopping app, Phia, alongside business partner Sophia Kianni, host Alex Cooper asked if she was a Beatles fan.

"Oh man, it's so bad. Like, I'm so bad at music, " Phoebe said. "I mean, my family like, we're so nerdy, so I knew nothing about music. I knew about tech stuff growing up, not music stuff. "

She also joked about Arthur’s musical abilities: "Unfortunately, Arthur does not have any musical talent. I've been trying to get him to serenade me for a very long time but it has not happened."

Despite his iconic lineage, Arthur has kept a low profile. He attended University College School in North London, where annual tuition is reportedly £31,000 (US$41,339), before studying history at Yale University. After graduating in 2021, he worked as an analyst at Beehouse and Goldman Sachs, and later joined U.S. investment firm Iconiq Capital in San Francisco.

Phoebe is the youngest of three children born to Bill and Melinda Gates, who divorced in 2021 after 27 years of marriage. After graduating early from Stanford with a degree in human biology, Phoebe launched Phia with Kianni, a former college roommate and activist.
