Steve Jobs' daughter Eve Jobs sneaks into her $6.7M wedding via secret church entrance

The 27-year-old heiress and British Olympian Harry Charles arrived at their wedding venue at St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, on July 26 via a back door, bypassing crowds gathered at the front, Hello! magazine reported.

"Yes, I’m sorry but we have heard that both bride and groom are inside now so they must've gone in by a different back entrance to avoid getting photographed," the event publicist told onlookers, as quoted by the outlet. "There is a rear entrance to the church, which is obviously how they got in. So yes apologies to everyone here and the locals who have been waiting to see the bride, but for one reason or another she decided not to go in the front door."

The couple also avoided public view after the ceremony, departing swiftly for their reception in a Mercedes limousine van, ass reported by Page Six.

A nearby resident expressed disappointment at not seeing the newlyweds.

"It just seems quite uncharitable but then I suppose it is their big day and they should be allowed to do what they want," the person told Hello!.

Following the ceremony, the couple hosted a private reception at Estelle Manor, a luxury hotel and members-only club in the English countryside.

Us Weekly magazine reported that Sir Elton John performed at the event for a fee of US$1.3 million.

According to The Times, the total cost of the wedding was estimated at £5 million ($6.7 million).

Guests included former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, a longtime friend of the bride's mother, Laurene Powell Jobs. Also in attendance was Jennifer Gates Nassar, daughter of Bill and Melinda French Gates, who, like Eve, is an equestrian and married Olympic show jumper Nayel Nassar in 2021, People magazine reported.

Eve, a model and professional rider, and Harry, 26, reportedly began dating in 2022. They went public in August 2024 when Eve shared a video of herself embracing Harry after his gold medal win in team show jumping at the Paris Olympics. The couple announced their engagement the following month.
