Jeff Bezos' low-profile children join family holiday after media exclusion from father’s wedding to Lauren Sánchez

The Bezos-Sánchez family of nine is currently relaxing on a cruise around the coast of Croatia, following their star-studded wedding in Venice during the last weekend of June. A source told the Daily Mail that the family has no further public events planned.

Bezos shares four children with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, while Sánchez has three from two previous relationships.

"They are just hanging out on jetskis and swimming and sunbathing," the insider said. "It's not a honeymoon really, they aren't going away just the two of them. They are relaxing and recovering from the wedding with some family time."

While no photos of the children surfaced from the Venice wedding, another source close to the event confirmed that all seven of Sánchez and Bezos' children were actively involved in the celebration. Sánchez' two sons, Evan, 19, and Nikko, 24, walked her down the aisle during the ceremony at the Cini Foundation in Venice on June 27.

Nikko is Sánchez' son from her previous relationship with former NFL player Tony González, who, along with his wife Tobie, was among the 200 guests.

Sánchez’ daughter, Ella, 17, served as maid of honor. "Ella’s original; she beats to her own drum," Sánchez told Vogue magazine before the wedding. " She had never had a fitting before, and she loved it. She’s going to look amazing. It has been the most fun dressing all the kids."

Sources also reported that all the children, including Bezos’ four, gave speeches during the wedding festivities.

Bezos, who has kept his children’s lives largely private, shares four children with Scott. His eldest son, Preston, 25, is the only one whose name has been publicly shared. The couple’s two younger sons remain unnamed, and they also adopted a daughter from China, People magazine reported. The family’s public appearances have been rare, with one notable outing in 2016 when Bezos and Scott attended the "Star Trek Beyond" premiere at Comic-Con International in San Diego with their children.

Before their marriage, Bezos and Sánchez were already building a modern, blended family. The couple has traveled together with Sánchez's ex, Tony, and their children.

The couple have expressed the importance of family time. In a 2023 interview with the Wall Street Journal magazine, Sánchez said, "On a typical Saturday we hang out, we have dinner with the kids, which is always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids."
