"These are stunning photos taken with the Huawei Mate 80," He wrote on Chinese social platform Weibo on Nov. 20.

"From galloping horses on the grasslands to penguins in the polar regions and refined portraits, whether it is long-distance, portrait, or HDR photography, everything lies in the user’s hands. See you at the launch on Nov. 25."

The post included six images: one taken with the Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design, two with the Mate 80 Pro, and three with the Mate 80 Pro Max.

Huawei has not revealed detailed specifications for the Mate 80 series but said the new models will feature a power-saving mode for ultra-long battery life.

The company has yet to disclose details about the camera configuration or confirm whether the devices share identical hardware.

According to industry sources, the Mate 80 Pro Max may feature a display with 8,000 nits of brightness, allowing clear visibility even under bright sunlight, far exceeding competitors.

By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has 2,600 nits, while the Honor Magic 8 Pro could achieve up to 6,000 nits.
